Eyecandy Optical began as a family-run business with a simple goal: to serve the Fernvale community with honest, high-quality eye care. For nearly 20 years, we have built lasting relationships with our neighbours, watching families grow and caring for patients from childhood through to their senior years.
Today, as a second-generation owner, I am proud to continue that legacy while modernising our practice to offer advanced, evidence-based clinical solutions.
Our optometrists are university-trained and registered to practise in Singapore, and our clinical lead holds a Master's degree in Optometry from Australia. We invest in continuing professional education and in the diagnostic equipment that supports it — digital refraction, retinal imaging and corneal topography — so that every recommendation we make is grounded in measurement rather than guesswork.
Day to day, that expertise shows up in three areas. Myopia management for children, where Ortho-K lenses, myopia control spectacle lenses and soft daily lenses are matched to each child's prescription and lifestyle, then reviewed regularly. Frame fitting, where we take the time to measure, adjust and re-adjust so that your glasses sit comfortably and your lenses perform as designed. And senior eye care, where progressive lenses, dry eye advice and monitoring for age-related changes help our older patients stay confident and independent.
We are also part of this neighbourhood. Many of our patients live a short walk away in Fernvale, Sengkang and Punggol, and we support local schools and community groups with vision screening advice and practical guidance for parents worried about their child's rising prescription. Being opposite Seletar Mall means we see the same faces year after year — and that continuity is exactly what makes good long-term eye care possible.
